Nina Dobrev was born on January 9 January, 1989 in Bulgaria. Now she is one of the most popular Bulgarian Canadian actresses, playing the role of single teenage mother on popular show Degrassi: The Next Generation in its 6th to 9th session. Although born in Bulgaria, Nina was brought up in Ontario and this is one of the reasons of her exceptional fluency in French, Bulgarian and English.
From her early age Nina displayed talent for different stream of arts like dance, gymnastics, music, acting etc. and these initiated her career in modeling. The graph went from modeling to commercials and therefore it paved the way to film auditions.
Never Cry Werewolf, Away from Her, and Fugitive pieces are some of her good movies; she is regular actress in CW’s drama, The Vampire Diaries. In 2010 Nina has grabbed two film awards; one is teen-choice-awards for Breakout Star Female and Fantasy Sci-Fi Actress both for Vampire Diaries.
